The paint is a metallic base coat clear coat which has been professionally applied. This car has the original 6 cylinder flat head 236 cu.in, engine that produces 109 horsepower. All of the gauges work. The glass, upholstery and carpet are like new. The interior door trim is the original hand painted wood grain and is in excellent condition. The heater and clock work perfectly. The original radio is in place but is in need of repair. This vehicle is all steel and there is no rust or bondo.. It has wide whitewall tires which are in excellent condition, along with having a spare tire which is blackwall. All of the chrome and stainless steel trim are in excellent condition. Thisvehicle is a California car originally purchased in Paynes Creek, California. Thecar is registered as a Historical Vehicle with license plates to confirm. It is a dream to drive, and the FluidDrive shifts up and down as expected.All of the lights and directional lights work, except for the backup lite.Onevery uniquemain features is the lighted hood ornament which is also very rare and works fine, althoughthere is some distortion and cracking in the original clear plastic work.We are the 3rd owners of this car since it was purchased newby adoctor in 1948.
