Welcome to Pantera Miami. Pantera parts/sales/service since 1977.
This is one of three 7000 Series Pantera GTS Models currently in stock, 1 of 97 imported, minus 8 I've personally exported. This car has great documented 2 owner clean history with all original panels, original GTS silver & the 'born with' engine/transaxle. Excellent floors & metal.
Books, tools, records dating back in the 90's.
Factory features include working a/c, power disc brakes, full instrumentation, factory tinted glass, space saver spare never down, Campognolo wheels.
Engine; rebuilt, no leaks no funny noises, no knocks, runs tight.
Performance; starts immediately going to fast idle for a few seconds, full throttle runs effortless. The car pulls cleanly to the redline with no effort, no smoke.
Cooling system; Upgraded radiator/fans/hoses. Does not run hot does no overheat.
Electrical; no problems. Turn signals, Maserati air horns I installed last Fall, running lights, side lights headlights, headlight doors, brake lights, 2 speed wipers all function as the should. Instrumentation works as it should. GTS clock works & window switches updated and brass gears in the regulator. No issues.
Interior; original. Nice. No seat tears, no rips, carpet replaced & nice, floor mats faded, New headliner last Fall we installed.
Body/paint; Doors close firmly, seams align nicely as do hood & deck. Headlight doors centered, meaning no crash damage. The car has all original sheet metal it was born with. This car was never wrecked. Paint is believed to be original with the addition of an overall clear coat someone added at some point, not sure when. The paint considered driver quality. That's not a problem considering the car is a real GTS.No dings, no gouges, no side-swipes.
Dependability; I have no reason not to think this car will drive you anywhere. I've driven it quite a bit to car shows and such with no problems. Fill it up 'n head out on the highway!
If you want a concours de'elegance restoration of this [or any DeTomaso] no problem. We do heavy hits as well as no hit cars. Once completed our restorations are perfect with NO excuses, no stories. A picture of another 7000 series silver GTS is included in one picture. This car is on it's way to being a perfect no expense spared restoration. The finest most perfect 1974 GTS... duplicating the way it left the assembly line 43 years ago is our goal. Down to the finest detail.We're almost there. It will set a record price at live auction.
***As a purchaser or buyer contemplating purchase of an early build Pantera, keep in mind that the ~rare GTS model~ represents the epitome of late Pantera/Ford marriage production, plus the fact that it's the shining star... of the final swan song for that FoMoCo/DeTomaso marriage.
***Understand...1974 GTS models don't come up for sale that often, maybe one or two a ~year~. Now that's a rare 'marque' by any standard. Rare translates to $$$ whether is a Muscle car, a Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, etc. Think about this before you invest. Always think about the day you will sell that car. While it's not on your mind now, it will be one day. Good advice.

1973 European GTS, 66k kms.,silver, average condition for a driver; 165k plus $16,500.00 fees. Car sold to France. Google it.
1974 GTS that sold from Fort Lauderdale here, 180k went to Japan.
1974 GTS from AutoExotica came here also, landing [over] a $150,000 plus sale.
