Description for Dodge Charger 1971
Up for your bidding consideration is a 1971 Dodge Charger SE big block car. This is a third generation Charger that started life as a color correct EV2 Hemi Orange car with a 383. It now has a 69 block HP 440 backed by a 727 automatic torqueflitetransmission. It also has the highly desirable L37 hideaway headlight option which really sets these cars off.The Charger is in overall very decent condition. It does have some rust in the typical places as shown in the pictures but the bones of this car are solid. I believe it spent a good deal of its life garaged as the interior is nearly perfect. The interior is black in color. It does run pretty well, ut could probably use a tune up or a little carb work. The transmission was working fine, ut after sitting awhile it doesn't pull quite as hard as I'd like it too. The transmission fluid and filter were changed recently. It could be that it just needs to be driven. This car was continuously owned by same person since 2000 and was garaged at least that whole time. It was rarely driven hence the possible tranny issue, ut like previously stated, t probably just needs to be driven more. It's still in overall excellent condition and will make a fine boulevard cruiser. It just needs a little tlc to bring it to that next level.Option list per data plate:G11--tinted glass, llH51-- air conditioning (all components still there but not currently working)L37--concealed headlampsV4X--black painted top ( most likely pretty rare option)U-- USA buildEV2--Hemi Orange exterior paintE5X9--cloth/vinyl bucket seats, lackTX9--black interior/door frames518--May 18th buildE65--383 4 barrel v8 300 hp ( original block may still be in Lancaster, A area)D32--heavy duty auto transmissionWP29--Dodge Charger PremiumN1A--383 300 hp, bbl, ynch rd, I, SAM91--luggage rack26--26" radiator
