The exterior displays a beautiful repaint to a correct Turquoise for the year, hough not the original color. This car displays excellent sheet metal condition and paint. This is believed to have always been a dry climate car. It spent a number of years in South Texas before making its way to the Dallas, exas area and our showroom. The interior of this Charger is instantly recognizable by its unique quad bucket seating & full length center console. The dash assembly was sent out and completely rebuilt. The dash shows as new, eautiful condition. The 2-watt AM radio is also functional and clear. The upholstery is in excellent condition. The center console was recently rebuilt as was the special pedestal-mounted console clock. The pedestal-mounted console clock is adjustable for driver or passenger, t was also rebuilt with a quartz movement. Under the hood is the date correct 318 cubic inch V8. This power plant runs very smooth. It has been fitted with a specialvintage iron intake manifold &dual 4bbl. carburetors and setup to run on one of them, lthough it appears they are both active. This is a very cool feature of this '66 Dodge Charger and really raises eyebrows when you open the hood. This car was originally equipped with a 383 cubic inch V8. The original fender identification plate is intact to confirm this Charger's option codes as is the original VIN plate. The original plastic Mopar service card is also still affixed to the glovebox lid with legible entries. This is a factory air conditioning car that was originally beige in color. The one of a kind dual quad setup began with a 1957 Plymouth dual quad intake (1822004) E 1 7 7 with the carburetors setup to drive. It appears both are active, owever one is not feeding fuel. This is just a beautiful engine compartment and '66 Charger. Special headers have been installed along with a full length muffler exhaust system. Further inspection of the exterior will reveal beautiful paint, ody, nd trim throughout. The classic Magnum 500 15-Inch wheels wear reproduction Firestone Wide Oval Redline Super Sport F70s all the way around. This is a collector quality 1966 Dodge Charger. The undercarriage is a further indicator of the dry climate status and condition of this Texas '66 Charger. The flooring appears to be in excellent condition, riginal and solid throughout the underbody as is the frame. The shocks have been replaced and the suspension previously rebuilt. The fuel tank has also been replaced along with many things over the years as they were needed. The exhaust system has been replaced front to back. The chassis and underbody is excellent. The trunk is in excellent condition, omplete with jacking equipment & service manual. This is your opportunity to own a gorgeous and rare 1966 Dodge Charger.
