Description for Dodge Other 19920000
IROC DAYTONA
RUST FREE CA CAR
5 SPEED MANUAL
VERY CLEAN
116,000 MILES
You won't find many of these left to choose from, specially in good condition. This car is not perfect, ot a show stopper or museum piece but it's cleaner and nicer than most of the ones I have seen come up for sale in the last few years. This is a very clean Califonia car showing just under 116,000 miles and I have an Arizona 'BOX A' or 'ACTUAL MILE' title that comes with the car. I have done my best to describe the car and I have included over 75 photos including several of the undercarriage which shows how clean and corrosion free the structure of the car is.
The body of the car is very straight and when I got it, t had several spots that were faded and needed attention so I had the car refinished. The paint is shiny and glossy and was a 'decent' job, here are a few minor blemishes and while it will not likely place you first in any national car show, t looks very nice and like I mentioned before, t looks better than most. Most importantly is that the body was not wrecked or repaired and was never rusty. All trim is intact, polished out the original headlamps, ail-lights and fog lamps, hey look nice. Tires are BRAND NEW, hey still have the 'nubs' on them, hey have less than 50 miles driven on them. Factory alloy wheels look nice and are all intact, hey have a few blemishes but they are all straight, rue and do not have a bunch of gouges in them or curb rash, aybe a slight scuff but they are very nice for original. Glass is nice, lear all the way around with no window tint. The windshield is excellent with no 'wiper-wear', itting, hips or cracks. The decals are also new on the car after the paint was refinished and they look really good.
The interior of the car is very clean and was owned by a non smoker so there ar absolutely no tobacco or foul odors. Everything looks to be intact and shows less than average wear for a car of it's vintage, o rips or tears in the seats, eadliner is nice and dash does not have any cracks or warping in it. It will need some attention to the 'combination switch' on the dash as it tends to be finicky as far as the signals and the headlamp operation goes, he lights all work including the fog lamps but that switch has a bit of an 'attitude'. The car has power windows and locks, old A/C and a Kenwood Am/FM CD player. When the car came in it had a malfinctioning ignition switch so I have replaced it with a new one so you will get two original master keys for the car and two new keys for the ignition, f you really wanted you could have the car re-keyed to use just the one but I really did not see the need to incur that expense. The car also has the factory rear storage cover that rolls in and out to cover any cargo in the hatch area.
Mechanically the car is really healthy. It starts up with no issues, ounds good, lutch is healthy and it is a fun car to drive. It does have a mild custom exhaust which gives it a unique sound but it definitely does not sound like some kids Honda with a 'soup-can' on the back of it. It does not appear to have any leaks and it does not over-heat, ven in our desert summer temperatures of 100+.
This will be a really fun driver and a blast from the past, he car is mostly in original condition in the sense that it has not been all hacked up with custom stereos, erformance parts or wierd paint schemes. The car resembles the showroom Iroc Daytona from back in '92. I have seen what these have been selling for and I have priced the car at close to what I believe it is worth compared to not only some of the top notch condition cars that sell for $8-10000 and on the contrary, ome of the junk that sells for $1500-2500. I'm asking on the 'upper' side of the middle at $4950. I know we all like to 'deal' so I will look at 'reasonable' offers. NO, ou cannot have it for 3 or 4 thousand, t's a better car than that but I'm not asking for $7k either so lets be fair. I am happy to assist with transport, f you have any questions or need further information please call me at (602)315-4055 or message me through the 'ask seller a question' tab here on Ebay BEFORE you submit an offer. Please ensure you have funds on hand prior to making an offer or hitting the 'Buy It Now' as I DO NOT have the ability to finance the car. Thanks for looking!
