1979 Dodge lil Red Express Truck

Up for sale is a nice 1979 Li'l Red Express. This truck has been in the same family for over 20 years! The truck had a nut/bolt frame off restoration in 1992. Since the restoration the truck has only been driven 1600 miles, 000 of those miles have been in the last few months. Having said that, he truck needs a little paint touch up as seen in pictures. The trucks factory chrome wheels and running boards will need to be chrome plated due to being parked in barn since the ‘90s. The truck is 100% stock and original and it runs and drives great!
A brief history of the Express Truck:
With the success of the1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck production of the 1979 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck's was increased to 5,118. Most of the features remained unchanged for 1979 however there was some changes which included a catalytic converter, unleaded gas, 5 MPH speedometer.
The most noticeable changes on the 1979 editionswas the new flat hood and dual square headlights replacing the round versions on 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck's and the 1979's rode on LR60x15 raised white letter tires on 8-inch chrome wheels on all 4 corners.
Also included as standard equipment on the Li'l Red Truck: Dual exhaust with vertical stack-pipes, hrome exhaust tips and stainless heat shields. Chrome plated valve covers, hrome-plated air-cleaner cover, hrome-plated side bed steps, niline body side and tailgate oak body trim panels with chrome-headed prop nuts, old 3M pinstriping tape decals on tailgate and doors.
