Description for Dodge Coronet 1953

You are bidding on a 1953 Dodge Coronet, ith 24,490.6 original miles.  The car has the original 230ci straight six engine, nd properly working Gyro-Matic(semi automatic) 3 speed transmission.  The interior is all original with dealer installed seat covers.  A previous owner installed 2 seat belts in the front.  The car is 6 volt positive ground, ith an intact, ood condition wiring harness. I installed a 6 volt pos. to 12 volt neg. converter that is wired to a double power outlet for the modern gadgets we all have.  All gauges work, nd seem accurate except for the fuel gauge, hich indicates 1/8 tank when empty.  Tires are bias ply reproductions mfg. by Universal Tire Co.  The defroster and wipers work, here is a good spare in the trunk, s well as the jack and tire iron.  Car comes with the original owners manual, nd paperwork, second spare tire and hubcap, car cover, nd a reproduction service manual.  Manual has swelled from humidity, ut no pages are stuck together.  The bad news: The cardboard kick panel by the passenger's feet is missing, long with part of the rubber inner running board pad.(see pics)  The same panel on the driver's side is there, ut is loose and has been taped to keep it in place. (See pic.)  The square gasket between the intake and exhaust manifolds has just started leaking, o that will need to be repaired at some point.(There's no exhaust odor, ut you can hear it.)  The only potential rust problem I could find on the body is on the right rear quater panel at th bottom.(See pic.)  It is not through, nd is minor, ut I wanted to mention it.  3 of the 4 bumper gaurds have surface rust where the chrome plating has come off.(see pics)  The Headlight and rear light bezels have moderate pitting, ut all the stainless trim is there and in good condition. The front carpet is replacement, ith aftermarket rubber floor mats. The Motorola Radio in the picture is NOT included, or is the pipe holder, ipe and traffic light viewer.  The compass does stay with the car.  I have been using nothing but Non-Ethanol gas in the car since I bought it.  The previous owner did a lot of work to the car, nd has it documented in the service manual.  Most work is normal maintenence, ut he did recore the radiator in 2011, nd a new thermostat and water pump in 2013.  I'm sure there's many things I've forgotten to mention, o please ask!  The car has a clear Pa. Title.  I had the car Pa. State Inspected in April, nd the car passed with flying colors!  The vehicle runs and drives well, nd I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere.  I encourage you to come out to inspect the car before auction's end!  There will be no refunds of the deposit if you change your mind! The car is sols AS-IS, HERE IS! A $500.00 deposit via PayPal is required at auction's end.  If you don't have PayPal, ontact me before auction's end and we'll work that out. Please ask all questions, EFORE the last day of the auction!  Also, f you aren't going to bring cash on pick up, lease email me to discuss payment.  The car and title WON'T be released until all funds have cleared my bank!
