Description for Dodge Coronet 1949

Description

This all steel rust free body and 318 V-8 Dodge Coronet has all the major components already done and ready for the street or further restoration. The motor is all done and fires up every day with the turn of a key with a nice beefy sound from the headers and completely redone exhaust. She's converted to a 12 volt system and has a working tachometer and brand new power brakes and lines. This beast is a very fun car to drive, s it has no issues with the automatic tranny shifting and cruising... well, ther than the muscle you'll need to manually steer it down the road. All the major work is done on this car and the owner moved on to another project... a 47 Plymouth (see last 4 pictures). As you can see, e do very nice work for him and he loves to match the solid patina of the exterior with a great drivetrain. Go ahead and cruise in this car and have fun or feel free to finish the rest with paint, nterior and a few odds and ends. The interior is pretty cool with the hand painted "Easy Livin" dash and doors and just a Southern blanket to cover the seats. You just won't find a more solid car at this no reserve starting bid of $5900, ut make sure to bid, s it will go back in his pole barn if it's not met... there's just way too much done already to let her go any cheaper. You'll also get extra parts to go with the car including fender skirts, runk handle (see picture) and fender splash guards just to name a few. That written, lease keep in mind that this is a 66 year old car and does need some attention including the headliner (sagging), ipers (not working), urn signals and some other odds and ends that make it the perfect rat rod or project, epending on your own intentions.
While our Shamrock Automotive specialists stand behind our description, lease keep in mind that you are bidding on a 66 year old car and that your bid is a binding contract for purchase. Shipping is thesole responsibility of the highbidder, ut I will help with loading or picking you up at Detroit Metro Airport if you want to fly in and drive her home. I have driven this car every day without any problem (well except for when it's raining!) and I'm sure it would make a fairly long distance trip.
Please ask questions before bidding, s I want to be sure that everything that I might have missed has been fully disclosed to you and you are satisfied with your purchase. That written, his car is quite a bargain at my starting bid for someone looking for an outstanding deal with a ton of work already done.
