Description for Dodge Charger 1967
This car is true California survivor. I bought this car from the family of a psychic in Bakersfield. She was the original owner and had the car garaged for all it's life. When she passed away the family sold me the car. I was really please with how awesome it looked with zero rust and no issues. I had a guy come to my house to color sand and buff the car. Well, nstead of hand sanding and going through 1200, 500 and then 2000 grit sand paper that I provided, e was lazy and threw on a bunch of compound and proceeded to burn through the paint with his polisher. It had 7 grey spots on it after. Anyway, then had a $5000 professional paint job put on the car about 7 months ago. I was then ready to drive the car around and it over heated. After opening the top end we could see sludge everywhere. I then had the motor totally rebuilt. That was about 50 miles ago. The only issue now is the headlights and a/c . The headlight go on but don't spin open properly. I have replaced the relays in the glove compartment and have bought an extra motor for possible replacement parts but the motors must need rebuilding. The factory A/C is all there. The compressor needs to be sent out for rebuild and then system recharged. After that the car would be great. There are no chips or scratches in the glass. Zero rust anywhere!!!! The upholstery is perfect. Even the dash pad is perfect and uncracked. The only issue on the interior is the silvering around the gauges has worn off in places. The only reason I am selling the car is I am losing a storage facility and I have to prioritize the 25 cars and projects I have. This car also hasn't been that kind to me, o I don't feel badly about letting it go. I will accommodate anybody needing to ship the car in the U.S. or internationally. I can have the car shipped for the following prices domestically. West of Phoenix = $500 West of Dallas = $800 West of Atlanta $1100 and East of Atlanta $1300 in an open transport. Add $400 for enclosed. My reserve is low. I will sell this car. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If you are really interested and have any questions call Lee at 310-259-5195. Don't ask what the reserve is. Good luck bidding.
