Description for Dodge Dart 1962
This car was inrunning conditionwhen I parked it a few months back. The brake fluid would leak out over a period of time. I never did find out where it was going. There is a good possibility that the master cylinder was leaking but I am not certain. The tires hold air but aren't very good. The transmission which is a push button automatic shifted great when I parked it. The windshield is cracked, he front seats have been replaced with bucket seats. The door panels aren't in very good condition. There is some body rust. The hub caps are inside the car. I did tune up the car after I bought it and it ran fine. It is possible that the carburetor has dried out. I don't know. I did not try to start it. You could either fix it up and drive it or use it for parts. I am selling the car as is, ith no guarantees whatsoever. The car will need to be delivered to its new location and not driven which is the buyers responsibility. I would like to have it moved as soon as possible but there is no great rush. There is a $250.00 non refundable deposit due at the end of sale. If you want, ou are welcome to come look at it and see if it will start. I think it will but make no guarantees. I did put a new/rebuilt mechanical fuel pump on the car and I believe a new or rebuilt starter. I later bypassed the mechanical fuel pump and installed an electric one. I believe the fuel tank had been removed and cleaned when I purchased it. I may have the fuel tank hooked up to the fuel pump or it may have a hose that I used with a jug of gasoline. Any questions, sk. I will try my best to answer them. If someone locally stops by and wants to purchase it, will sell it for a reasonable offer. If there is a bid on the car I will not sell it locally and will let the ad run.
