Description for Dodge Power Wagon 1977
TRUCK WILL SELL to highest bidder10 DAY - NO RESERVE AUCTION1977 Dodge Warlock Parker Mint Score 400 / Baja 500 pre runner desert racer replicaStreet legal titled360 c. i. V-84-speed manual trans4x4 D-150All original except for 4 new tires. Cool truck ready to drive now or finish off to your tastes. As you can see she's no trailer queen. but any Warlock these days is getting harder and harder to come by. This truck has a great old patina. which is where the vintage 4x4 truck market seems to be heading now. Fun truck to drive--lots of power and very solid feeling going down the road. Warlocks were Dodge's muscle truck that came out right before the 'Little Red Express' of 1979. Available for only two years. these were the trucks to get. Most Warlocks were automatic 727 equipped and this is the very rare 4-speed optional version. This truck has all of it's 5 original gold spoked steel Warlock wheels mounted to 4 brand new BFG 32x11. 5x15 All Terrain tires (10 miles on them). and all center caps and lug nuts are brand new. There is a photo close up of one of the wheels--I cleaned approx. 1/3 of it (9 o'clock-12 o'clock position in photo) with an SOS pad so you can get an idea of what they will look like once cleaned completely. There are quite a few tears on original bucket seats & center section---please see photos. Dash is really nice. but glove box only has a couple very small cracks. Inside/door cards are very nice and in very good shape. Exterior paint has been touched up over the years with some vintage off road stickers added. All original wood in bed and side rails is still decent. Notice damage to both right & left front fenders. Truck starts easy and runs good ONCE WARM. She's cold blooded and takes a long time to warm up. so I don't think that a thermostat is currently installed (a new 180 degree unit included). Also included are the original bumpers. new weather stripping (Mopar brand not aftermarket). new NOS front blinkers. and new headlight adjust springs in bag. See photos. Also included is another very good condition used front grill as the one currently on it has seen better days. for sure. This original 360 is NOT the 4-bbl. Magnum motor--this is the 2 bbl. carb motor. Tons of torque. Clutch feels good. 4x4 transfer case works fine -- all 4 wheels pull like a train. NO DATA PLATES (trim tags) ON FRONT COWL---THEY ARE MISSING SO PLEASE BUY ACCORDINGLY AND WITH THIS IN MIND. All gauges on dash. all switches. lights & blinkers all work. Windows roll up and down. windshield wipers work. All glass is good: no chips or cracks. Power steering and power brakes. ARIZONA RUST FREE--all orig. steel floor pans are excellent. NO RUST or corrosion anywhere on truck except at driver side rear of fender. Very minor. Excellent dash. gauges. etc. Transmission shifts easy and smooth. 4 speed with granny first gear. As you can see this is a not a show queen. But. it still looks good with that used and abused 'just did the Baja 1000' look. Driver quality paint. All vintage style vinyl stickers can be removed if you don't like them. Brakes are very good with fronts being DISC with drums in rear. power steering works great. All original underneath hood including carb. air cleaner. intake & exhaust manifolds. etc. This is an original southwest car originating out of Colorado and has spent it's last few years here in AZ. Mileage is what is showing on odo. No idea if it has turned over. or not.
