1968 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible

Red 1968 Dodge Coronet 500 with White Power Convertible Top, 83 HP (pad reads D code under the distributor) Magnum 4 Barrel, utomatic Transmission, M Radio, hite Interior, ucket Seats with Console.

This 1968 Coronet 500 was originally from the Sacramento CA area and was purchased in 2001 and shipped to Ohio. Spent the first 12 years in heated and air conditioned warehouse and the last 2 years in a storage garage. Car purchased had 23,947 miles on odometer and mileage now is 24,190. Past owner stated the engine was rebuilt at 94,686 miles, o odometer has turned 100,000 miles.

Car is in great condition for a 47 year old car. Past owner stated that the carpet was replaced but the rest of the interior is original. He also touched up any chips in the paint and replaced the carburetor with an Edelbrock since the original was toast as he put it. Windshield washer reservoir was missing when purchased and is still missing from car. Console hasa crack in the top of the plastic rear section andconsole door need to be put back on.

Updates to the car are as follows:

Rebuilt Front End Polygraphite Bushings from Performance Suspension Technology, pper and Lower Ball Joints, ie Rod Ends Inner and Outer, dler Arm, ront and Rear Shocks, teering Gear Box rebuilt by Firm Feel, pper and Lower Control Arms, pindles and K-member have been Powder Coated, ower Disc Brakes Front and Rear have been added from Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation, tainless Steel Brake Lines. Car originally fitted with Non-Power Drum Brakes and the original Drum Brakes can be sent with car if buyer wants them.

Car sits on BF Goodrich 205/70S14 Radials with 14x6 ET Five Rims on front and BF Goodrich 275/60S15 Radial with 15x8 ET Five Rims on rear. Original Rims, ubcaps and tires can be sent if the buyer wants them. Spare tire, ack, ie down and trunk pad come with car, ut not installed.

When the car was moved to a storage garage in 2013 the water pump was replaced along with Hoses, elts and Alternator. All as preventive maintenance. Car aligned, il and filter changed. In May of 2015 the automatic transmission was rebuilt due to a front seal leak.
