Here is a gorgeous survivor!!! A real one!!!!
1968 Dodge Dart GTS with the original 340 4V "LA" High Performance , speed transmission and the Hurst shifter it came with. Sure grip rear end.A highly optioned car that was ordered in with P.S. P.B. Full tinted glass, M Radio, rip mouldings, ody belt mouldings,wheel lip mouldings, orizontal stripe, H outside Chrome remote mirror, ender mount turn signals, onsole and bucket, B vinyl seats, G1 monotone racing green with lighter green interior, speed transmission, :23 rear end ratio sure grip posi, ear defogger, ndercoat, nbsp;light package, edline tires, nbsp;front and rear bumper guards, nd more.
Came with the dog dish hubcaps and steel wheels which I still have, oweve, like the full mag type hubcap which is what you see on the car now. The others are in the trunk.
I have original owners name that purchased the car when itwas ordered in.I have the build shee, wners information and this can be sent to Galen Govier to give you authenticity and a certicard.The car has the original parts to the car. This is what you call ( close to ) a true numbers matching car.The engine with 74,569 miles on it runs like new and has never been out of the car. Original transmission that is flawlessalong with the Hurst spaghetti type shifter that has no rattles and shifts as smooth as it did when new.Original manifolds, adiator, nd carburetor.It doesn't get much better then this.Had the car in the body shop 3 1/2 years ago where it was stripped to bare metal and painted the original color when it came from the factory. I spent a fortune to get it to perfection.Also put 4 brand new redline tires ( radial type) which are not original. Came with bia ply but it rides so much better with radials.All components are intact and operable on this fine example.The black paint on the rear Chrome attached to the trunk lid needs to be re- painted. I'm getting to retirement and I'm selling off my collection of cars.I'm a fussy car guy that looked for 5 years before finding this car like most of my collection.If you can find a better one you should buy it.
This is 1 of 1281 that came from the factory with the 340 cu.in. 4 speedHow many are left in this condition with the whole histor, nmolested and intact.Like I said I have the history from new on this car.
