Up for sale with NO RESERVE from the restoration experts here at NAMCmopar: We've relisted this 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T console 4 speed car with two original fender tags under the hood. original engine. original FACTORY 4 speed. console car that still has beautiful original RALLYE gages. woodgrain console and woodgrain steering wheel and the list of original parts goes on and on and on. Car is 1 of 465 made with 383 4 speed 1971 R/T Challengers sold! There were a total 4. 30 1971 Dodge R/T Challengers produced between Hemi. 440. 383. 340's. ARE there any of these 1971 Challengers with this loaded options package still around??? You can count them on one hand probably!Originally a GA4 color code: Light gun metal metallic. car has black interior. black vinyl top and rallye gages and original console with pistol grip factory 4 speed. Car was trailered from Southern Oregon to NAMCmopar for listing on eBay. Stored in a barn for thirty years. this car RUNS! We have washed it and cleaned the windows. wiped off dust from interior. This car has the nicest original door panels. dash pad. gages. wood grain steering wheel. console that we have seen! Car has had left front fender replaced at one time in its history. Left hand inner fender has minor damage ripple on top as per photo. The passenger door / right hand door was changed due to owners sliding into fire hydrant. Has minor "push-in" on the top of rocker where door meets body - about 8 inches long. as per photo. Front lower core support is bent as per photo. Overall this car is very solid. Trunk floor still good. with surface rust as per photos. Package tray area is nice. Lower quarters have minimal rust bubbles as per photos. FYI: That wide chrome on the front of the car is an extra cost option on a car with many upgrades. Code M28. and is listed as Wide Grille Surround (available with chrome bumper only) It was also part of Challenger Molding Group. code A46. listed as Front Stone Shield Molding in the original dealer option book. It was a 1971-only option on the Challenger only! Not availabe on the 'Cuda or other year of Challengers! This seems to be a West Coast USA only option! This car has 15x7 rallyes. power disc brakes. power steering with that very cool. rare upgraded trim exterior package to include that wide band of chrome around nose. belt moldings. dual chrome race mirrors. front valance trim. chrome gas cap. Car is mostly all original! Engine seems to run strong as we woke it up. Has good oil pressure. Header and exhaust does leak. Our tech's installed an original intake manifold and non matching Holley carb to prime and start this beast with fuel tank disconnected (who knows what is in there. ) Oregon title and original broadcast sheet. this car is a GREAT one to restore! Car could run and drive with exhaust work. accessories hooked up (power steering/alternator) and the fuel system will need to be flushed. tank dropped. cleaned or replaced. Most everything electrical looks good. still works (a few bulbs are missing here and there) Brakes work. pistol grip transmission gate feels nice and tight. Shifts nice. We removed the steering wheel cover to find that BEAUTIFUL woodgrain wheel! Even the factory console woodgrain top plate looks great! The Rallye gauges are all original and beautiful!Car has literally been out of the sunlight for the past 30 years! The wear and tear was all from pre 1985! Car looks a little rough in these photos but is a VERY solid and hard to find project car! We would know. being a restoration house! We do know that THIS is the condition that over seas investors/buyers are looking for because it is less expensive to container a car that is not completely restored.
