Good front/rear differentials, ew rear u-bolts, ood single exhaust, ost brake lines are new, riginal seat frame with seat cover, nd freshly re-boarded flatbed. Head has been milled .060" (to raise compression). Clear Indiana title. The truck is rough, nd NOT being sold as a good restoration candidate; consider it a fun wood-hauler or parts donor. Only 45-55 of the 1954s have been registered to still exist in any capacity. Floor has been patched with sheet metal, oors are rotten at the bottoms, he lower windshield frame is bad, nd the frame has been bobbed a few inches. The top of the cab is excellent, hough. Comes with four 46" tall, nbelievably heavy, oodyear Earth Mover tires on modified factory wheels, pair of factory dually wheels, nd a pair of original split-rims. Passenger door glass is good, he rest is not. It will come with one extra good vent glass, ne good door glass, ne good back glass, nd a few other miscellaneous cracked glass. The 1-2 shift fork was bent during removal/installation of the engine and transmission a month ago. It whines/grinds in those two gears, ut is driveable (maneuverable). The transmission was excellent, rior to that. It hasn't been driven 200 feet since it was bent. The fork can easily be straightened, he transmission swapped out with the spare one that is included, r just the top shifter plates can be swapped out. Other than that single issue, he truck is mechanically sound.
The only other two things needed to make the truck "drivable" are a radiator and gas tank- it has neither. It currently runs off of a gallon jug and has the radiator hoses looped together, ith the block full of coolant only. For an additional $300, will install some kind of radiator and fuel tank into it and install the turn signals/wiper covers. I do not have a radiator or tank, o I would have to buy them (the $300 covers the cost of all needed parts, lus installation).
Be advised that the truck is 91" wide with the 46" tires on it, nd it must be hauled on a trailer that will support that, nless the buyer/shipper brings a set of factory wheels to install onto it for transport. The truck is located in West Baden Springs, ndiana. Contact preferrably through text at 8I2-7nine7-II94 with any questions, r call if you must (I'm not a fan of talking on the phone). I am restoring another truck, o I will consider trading it all/partially for needed parts. I also have another good factory offset housing, centered rear differential that needs the spindle threads fixed on one side, nother good pair of 5.83 gear sets, nd a complete matched set of Dodge Dana 60/70 kingpin axles I would sell/trade as well, f interested (for the re-power guys). Thanks.
