1965 Dodge Coronet 500

Up for auction is this stunning 65 Dodge Coronet 500. From what we can tell this car was sold new in TN and was pretty much a Southern car. The current owner bought the car and had it repainted to the beautiful Carmine Red that you see here. Before repainting the only rust repair on the car were a few spots the size of a quarter in the rear quarters and he had it cut and replaced with metal. The floors, runk and body are all original to the car. Looking down the side of the car is looks very straight. The Coronet has a nice looking stance sitting on the Cragar wheels. On a scale of 1 to 10, 0 being the best I would rate the paint a solid 8 or 9. All the chrome and stainless on the car looks great as you can see from the pictures.

The interior has all been detailed and is ready to go! The carpet, eadliner, oor panels and seats are all in great condition. The flash from the camera makes the doors look bad but they are not. The bucket seats do not have any rips or tears and the center consol is in good condition. Also the padded dash looks and feels new! The dash is not all cut up and the owner put a new stereo in the glove box.
This is a non-numbers matching engine. In the auction I added a video of the car running. I hope you can hear how good the car sounds! The 400ci starts right up and the sound is amazing with the cam and Flow Master dual exhaust. The odometer is showing 35,000 and we believe that the true miles are 135,000 with only about 1,000 miles being added in the last three years. The automatic 3-speed transmission makes this car a joy to drive. Weather you are looking for just a Sunday cruiser or a car that you can drive to shows this would fit the bill. Let me know if you have any questions on the car. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call at any time.
