1966 Dodge charger. (premium package). nbsp;383 four barrel automatic in excellent original condition. This is a great survivor car with the original paint and interior. The motor runs excellent and the transmission shifts perfectly. The car has power windows. power locks. and factory tinted rear glass. The undercarriage is rust free and in amazing shape for the year. The body panels are exceptionally straight and the fenders have no rusted areas. The front grill. nbsp;bumpers. and trim are very good. All original example of the first year Dodge Charger. There are a few items that need to be sorted out and repaired but are relatively minor. I will list out the positives and negatives to be aware of with the purchase of this car. Positives* The motor and drive train run great (please see the video to see the engine running) http://youtu. be/vRCAdodlZZ4* The body and whole undercarriage is in remarkable shape* Has period correct mag wheels as well as the original rims and tires with hub caps that are in good condition* Has mostly original paint with the exception of a few touch up areas and rust inhibitor in various areas. * Interior seats. door panels. and dash are in great shape* Has the premium package with power windows. power locks. power steering. power brakes. air conditioning. and a cool console clock etc. * The chrome trim. front grill. and bumpers are in great condition only a few dents and dings overall. * There is a new air conditioner compressor installed. * The lights. work good and the rear tail lights bar is in good conditionNegatives* The hideaway headlights are not working now. they used to work well so it is probably just one of several fixes for that common problem* A couple of the gauges are not working properly such as the oil pressure and fuel but most do work like tachometer. speedometer and dash lights * There are a couple of the power windows that don't work now I think due to the electrical switch instead of the window assembly. The drivers side window needs some attention though. * There has been a couple touched up paint areas that used the wrong color yellow and other small body areas that have been treated with rust inhibitor or primer*The air conditioner works but has a toggle switch wired to it or needs some attention to sort out kicking on but does work* The carpet could use a couple new pieces in the back . nd the glove box door needs a small repair to keep it closed. * The brake master cylinder has a slow leak and could use repair or be replacedCheck out the video of the car running at http://youtu. be/vRCAdodlZZ4No warranty is expressed or implied in the sale of this 1966 Dodge Charger. car is sold as is where is.
