70 Charger 500 #'s Matching All Original Unrestored Project AC Console Car

Description for Dodge Charger 1970

You are bidding a Un-restored Original, TRUE 1970 Dodge Charger 500 project vehicle. This is a BASE Charger with the original 318ci motor and automatic transmission, power steering, vinyl top car, bucket seats, console, and air conditioning. This Charger is all original and has almost all the parts it was born with. This does have a clean title!

This car still has a lot of good parts such as… solid front fenders, console is not cracked at all, the frame and torque boxes are solid, solid inner and outer wheel houses. Nice roof and solid rockers. Has almost all the moldings which are straight and just need polishing.

All the trim, glass, and bumpers are there. The glass is in ok-to-good condition (windshield is cracked). All of the regulators are there. Windows do work but are very hard to operate from sitting. All of the wiring is there and most of it looks good except for the rear lighting harness. Front grill is in pretty good condition. So are the original front and rear bumpers. This car has a nice undercarriage, great frame, and nice solid torque boxes.

Most of the exterior sheet metal varies… roof is straight with no major dents, deck lid looks solid, doors are in ok-to-good condition but all the rest of the body panels will need patches or replacements.

Most of the floor pans are rusty along with the trunk pan. Inner and outer wheel houses are very nice and I think you can even save the trunk drop offs. Rockers, inner and outer, look solid still.

All of the interior is there for the most part but all the fabric and vinyl pieces need to be replaced. Dash cluster looks ok. I have no way the test anything.

Again this is mostly original and will need complete restoration!

Driveline is original! The 318ci motor did rotate per the last owner a few months ago but I tried and it didn’t move. I have no idea of internal condition. Same goes for transmission. Car does roll easy. This car has been sitting for awhile and has passed through many owners in this current state.

Again this car needs total restoration, has most of its parts and has a good skeleton to start a new restoration or make a drag car. Here are the major items missing (not every piece but the major items); Passenger bucket seat, some of the lower rear window moldings, drive shaft, gas cap, wiper arms, and rear bumper brackets. The driver torsion bar is broken.

Has a clear Michigan title.

Due to space limitations and other upcoming auctions, buyer MUST take possession within 7 days of auction close unless other arrangements are agreed upon. I can store this vehicle for $125 a month (in advance) if you need time to make affordable shipping arrangements. Paid storage is in a dry, heated, secure indoor location. I do not finance. No trade or barter.

I am not responsible for any fees, or taxes or any out-of-pocket costs. Buyer is responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. No warranty, sold as is.

Shipping is the Buyer’s responsibility. I will not ship but will work with your shipping company. Pick-up arrangements (by the Buyer or the shipping company) must be coordinated in advance to insure my availability since I am often in and out on business. Local delivery may be possible within 200 miles of zip code 44056 for an extra charge. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and related arrangements and payments. Vehicle must be paid in full before it leaves my premises.

Insurance: I highly recommend that the buyer put insurance on the vehicle upon purchase as I am not responsible for any damage incurred after leaving my premises.
