Description for Dodge Challenger 1973

Before I begin, I would encourage all serious buyers to contact me directly at 1-517-990-2646 with any questions or concerns.

This auction is for a 1973 Dodge Challenger. We all know the Mopars are the hottest muscle car craze out there today and with the prices this car is a great buy for anyone NOT wanting to spend $50 or $60 grand to get a cool old Mopar to have some fun with and not have to spend any money once they get the car on fixing things or on a total restoration.

The car has all the looks and the sound. The 70-73 Challenger are very rare and hard to find and are said to be the best years of the entire Challenger years produced. The car is a car that is in need of nothing to have some fun with.

The car is very nice. This car was a 340ci high performance according to the vin# it has had many very desirable upgrades. The high impact paint Plum Crazy Purple is newer and looks very nice with very few flaws, with the matte black hood just looks fast, add the rallye stripes on the side and it’s a great muscle car look. The interior is Black with bucket seats and is “as new condition” it has the factory console and gauge package with a very nice Auto Meter set of aftermarket gauges mounted under dash to keep tabs on the very fast 440 motor vitals, and the Phantom memory tach with shift light. This car has very nice sounding Pioneer Premier super tuner with remote and six high end speakers plus a 250 watt sub mounted in the trunk along with a Sony Xplod amp it does sound very nice. The car has a professionally built very strong 440ci with Mopar hi performance aluminum heads and intake with a Holley performance 4 barrel carb, roller rockers, MSD ignition, K&N air filter, aluminum radiator, March pulley system with serpentine belt and a electric fuel pump with sump make the fuel delivery very dependable. The rebuilt transmission is a 3-speed auto with shift kit, stahl converter and reverse valve body done by FB Performance Trans. The posi rear end and frame ties make the car hook up very nice. The full exhaust sounds great with the hooker headers. The car also has power steering and power disc brakes this car drives nice.

All the glass is in very nice condition as is all the chrome and trim. The underside is very solid and it has had new half quarters installed at the time of restoration and the trunk pan is very solid also. Overall condition is very nice and will make someone a great car. Please let the entire pictures load I have included several and the car does look better in person as it does here.

As you can see the car is stunning with the great color combo of Plum Crazy Purple with black interior with the new mopar factory style rallye wheels with new trim rings and caps on BFG’s tires front P235/60/R15 and rear P255/60/R15 this car has a very cool stance the car says, “I have arrived” at any local car show or any event. With all the mainstream cars like Camaro’s Chevelle’s GTO’s and etc. this car will stand out. Everybody has the typical, black, red, blue, white muscle cars how many 73 Challengers in this condition have you seen at your local car show lately? Now find one in this color combo. This is a rare opportunity to get great deal on a great car.
