Description for Dodge Coronet 1969
1969 Dodge CoronetSelling a very solid 1969 Dodge Coronet. This car was originally a three speed, column shift, six cylinder Coronet 440. It's virtually rust free and would make a great base starting point to finish. The trunk is original and has no rust, front and rear frame rails are very solid without any issues. The floor pans are original and are nearly perfect without any rust. The doors still shut like they are brand new. The right side of the car was put in a light base of primer to prevent surface rust, but it's condition was the same as the left side which has been stripped, and is still in bare metal. The lower rear quarters have rust and will need repaired, there is also one small rusted area in the rear window panel that is about the size of a half dollar. Besides those two areas there isn't much rust to be found elsewhere.
The car was converted to 1968-1969 era 440 engine with a six pack setup and A833 four speed transmission. Engine was a basic rebuild, 440 with a standard bore and runs with no smoke. Comes with new aluminum radiator with electric fans. Also has a chrome air breather (needs base). Still needs the clutch linkage installed and will need new tail pipes. Has a completed Mopar disc brake changeover, brand new H-pipe, new turbo mufflers and chrome exhaust tips. 8+3/4 323 sure grip rear end.
Comes with factory original side scoops and reproduction lift off hood, needs hood pins and installed, currently just sitting in place.
Interior was converted to black (minus the steering wheel, which still needs changed). Bucket Seats + Pistol Grip Hurst Shifter. Car was originally F8 Green with F8 Green interior.
