Description for Dodge Coronet 1970

1970 Dodge Coronet
Thank you for looking at our 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee project car! This is a very solid car that needs the restoration completed. This car has the original 440 cubic inch V8 and highly desirable Six-Pack and it runs and drives well. The numbers matching engine has been rebuilt! Mechanically, this car is complete and the rebuilt motor sounds fantastic! As you can see, the car has been through a partial restoration and is waiting for you to complete it! Originally an orange car, the previous restorer painted the back half of the car but the fenders, hood, doors and trunk lid still need painted. Included in the auction are all of the parts we received from the previous owner. As you can see, the parts list is extensive and we believe it should be everything needed to finish putting the car back on the road! That said, we haven't taken the time to make a list, so some parts may be missing. The new windshield and seal are in place, as is the rear glass. The rest of the glass has been packaged well for shipping. We've looked over the car mechanically, installing a new battery and performing a mild service to get the car running again. We did notice that the previous restorer upgraded the K member so the car now has 4 wheel disk brakes and we think the centerline wheels look great on the car! They are fitted with 275/60/15 tires in the back and 245/60/15 in the front. The car also has both front and rear california blue tags. Unfortunately the dash pad is cracked and the carpet will most likely need to be replaced. Additionally, the ignition cylinder is loose and may need to be replaced but it does currently work. We've disconnected the fuel system, so it isn't currently hooked up but if the car meets the reserve we will be happy to clean the gas tank out and get it hooked back up for you if you would like. Please take a look at all of the extra parts and understand that you're buying a project car. Much of the hard work has been done but the car will need some attention before it can be road legal. Thank you for bidding and please contact us with any questions!
