Description for Dodge Coronet 1965

For Sale 1965 DODGE CORONET 440 PROJECT CAR
  • Needs total restoration.
  • Sold with a GA Bill of Sale.
  • Sold "AS IS" with "NO Warranty".
  • I do not have every part to this car.
  • Selling to the lower 48 states only.
  • True mileage unknown.

Originally a 318 car (the 318 motor and transmission
are long gone). I do not have a fender tag for this car.
The VIN Tag is intact. Car is an 8 3/4 axle, but the 3rd
member is missing.
The interior is missing, but I do have 2 B or E Body Mopar style front buckets seats that will come with the car, but they will need new seat covers. The car comes with an extra hood, an extra set of fenders and all of the exterior window trim.
The body is in pretty good shape for it's age. In my opinion, the worst things about this car are the door skins and the interior floors. ( AMD is now making the door skins, which is a plus.) Underneath the primer is bare metal and where there was some surface rust, there was some pitting. The rear lower quarters are pretty solid with the exception of some very small holes. See pictures. The frame looks good too with the exception of a small area on passenger side front, but it looks to still have it's integrity. See pictures.
The car comes with a 1967 383 engine that needs rebuilt. The pistons were scraped many years ago, but the rods are still there. The engine will also need a bolt kit and an oil strainer. The engine will also need a balancer. I may have a balancer and if I can find it, I will let it go with the car, but no guarantees.
We require a $500.00 deposit paid to our PayPal account within 48 hours of auction end. And the remaining balance is to be paid by "Cash in Person" or "Cashier's Check" - Cashier's Check must clear the bank before the car is released. If there is no contact from the winning bidder within 48 hours, then we reserve the right to relist the car.
The winning bidder is responsible for pick up and shipping the car. THE CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION END UNLESS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AND THE CAR IS PAID FOR IN FULL.
If you have any questions or need pictures of a certain area, please let us know by email.
Thanks for looking. May the best bidder win.
