Description for Dodge Charger 1970
RARE BARN FIND! 1970 BIG BLOCK DODGE CHARGER! B5 BLUE. BLUE INTERIOR. COMPLETE & READY TO BUILD! This Charger is the one that must be built! An original B5 Blue Big Block car that is complete and ready to be taken to the next level. We originally had intended on building it to one of two cars. Either a beautiful RT/SE 426 Hemi Clone or a 440-6 Pack Clone. Unfortunately. we just don't have the time to get it done so our loss is your gain. I can tell you that every single year. it becomes far more difficult to find these third generation Chargers. For some reason. the 70's. they seems to be the scarcest of the bunch. In my personal opinion. I think within the next five years that you simply won't be able to find them in a project state. They just didn't build that many of them and the ones that you're able to find. most dedicated Mopar guys take the initiative and build them. Thus putting them in a price range that is hard to attain. The body on this Charger is complete but will require the typical sheet metal work. It will need front floors. trunk. quarters. etc. The rear frame rails on this Charger are solid. The doors are in pretty good shape. The A-pilars. rear sail panel. top sides of the quarters. rear floors. these areas are solid and will not require replacement. The Charger does retain the majority of its trim. As you will see within the photos. it does have a complete grill as well as its tail lights. We are including a 440 block with the Charger. The transmission within the Charger is a transmission that I was told was the original to the car but I have not verified it. The interior of the Charger is complete but will need gone through. One thing that I would love to see is this Charger built in to a one of a kind Patina resto rod. Perhaps air bagged with one of the newer 5. 7 Hemis. The Trucks seem to be doing remarkably well with this setup but how awesome would this Charger be with a set of staggered wheels and the current paint left alone? While finding a 70 Charger is no simple task. you can however find them. Unfortunately though. the majority of them have been picked to death and are suffering from all of the typical rust issues. Additionally. you don't find too many of the big block cars still around. So you can take comfort in knowing that you're buying a real power house Muscle car that is going to save you a tremendous amount of money and time due to the fact that it is complete. I will be evaluating all reasonable offers and I will in fact sell the Charger early as I do have it for sale "locally". My goal here is to sell the Charger. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I do have a clear title for the Charger. As always. good luck and happy bidding! Thanks. /p> 816-308-0351 Looking for another another Muscle car? Feel free to check out my other auctions by clicking here! Thank you!
