Up for grabs is this 1961 Dodge Polara. I have owned this car for over a year and it was my daily driver with no problems. It is a completely rust free California car and is mechanically sound. The engine and automatic pushbutton transmission were rebuilt and have around 6. 00 miles on them. The front suspension. including power steering gearbox. was rebuilt in November 2013. I completely rebuilt the brakes. including relined shoes. rear axle shaft seals and bearings in September 2013. The gas tank was replaced with a clean one and I have only ran non ethanol gas in the car. I painted the car on a budget and the paintjob doesn't look professional. but its perfect for a daily driver. The wiring looks good and everything works in the car. I replaced the tires with new ones at the time of the brake job. The interior is fair. but a new headliner and carpet set is included with the car still in the box. The seats will need reupholstering and there are a few small cracks in the dash pad. I started collecting parts for adding under dash air conditioning which will included with the purchase of the car. I also had Waldrons exhaust build a reproduction muffler for the car. its not installed. but it included with the car. Here is the list of options the car has. Power steering. variable speed wipers. windshield washer. astrophonic radio with rear speaker(I added an aux input for an mp3 player). all factory tinted glass. remote outside mirror. padded dash. parking brake warning light. trunk light. and glove box light. Here is the stuff that needs attention. Seats need to be reupholstered. some trim clips need replacing. replace weatherstripping for trunk. adjust fitment of drivers side door. replace transmission pan gasket(included with car) as it leaks slightly. This car runs beautifully and delivers good gas mileage. I drove the car at speeds of 75-80mph and it got an average of 20mpg. It never overheats or stalls. The car drives and runs like new.
