Up for auction is a great looking 1957 Dodge Royal 2 DR hardtop. The Royal was the next step up from the Coronet. She is in great shape and a real joy to drive. I bought this car about seven months ago on eBay and the only reason I'm selling it is because an opportunity come up for me to buy another forward look Mopar that I have been lusting over. I just can't keep them all. The Red Ram 325 cu in/ 245 hp engine cranks right up and purrs like a kitten. An electric fuel pump was installed which only improves the reliability. The original fuel pump is still in place. if the new owner wishes to reconnect. She has the push-button automatic Torqueflite transmission. The front and rear bumpers are in great shape with only couple of little scratches on the front bumper. A few of the side chrome and tail light bezels are starting to show some pitting. The interior has been refinished in an original type cloth material. It also appears to have its original headliner and sun visors which are in good condition. Everything works on instrument panel with the exception of the clock and the radio. The odometer shows 12. 41. The interior carpet is in good shape but does look a little bit faded and it could stand to be replaced. The hood has a couple of paint chips. One of which has been touched up. She has radial wide white wall tires including the spare. Overall this car is a beauty and is in an exceptional driver quality condition.
