1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Black Velvet over Black Interior. Equipped with a 440ci V8 Engine mated to a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. A beautiful restoration from the ground up, this car looks better than the day it rolled off of the showroom floor. Show quality body and paint. This is a rare and desirable car, a true U code 440 Magnum R/T that came from the factory Black on Black with 4-Speed transmission and Dana 60 rear axle with 3:54 gears. The Wise Report done in 2015 estimates that this is 1 of 25 such cars to be produced. It is also presumed to be 1 of 100 Black R/T's produced. This special car was featured in an official Dodge commercial, to promote the new Hemi Challenger when it was released in 2012, this is the reasoning for the 426 Hemi emblems on the hood, as in the commercial the car transforms from a 1970 Hemi Challenger into the new Hemi Challenger.
