Description for Dodge Coronet 1968
Beautifully restored Two-Owner Coronet R/T with all original sheet metal (other than hood) and original engine block but built to far exceed factory power (engine HP is well over 500). Painted in non-factory Metallic Gun Metal Grey with Fiberglass lift-off super-stock hood for sinister look and packing 440 cubic inches of Bad Attitude. You won't see another one like this anywhere in USA. Sounding even better than it looks, this Classic Mopar is ready for cruising and all the weekend shows.All interior and exterior lights work. All gauges work, including clock and new mini Tach (Speedo is 5 MPH off). Power Steering makes for easy cruising and drum brakes work great with minimal effort (no power assist needed).
Original Factory Radio works but is not hooked up to speakers. Heater blower motor has never worked since I have owned the car. I will include the factory antenna and windshield washer container, which I removed for appearance.
More Details:-- Major Restoration and Engine Rebuild by previous (and original) owner including Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock Intake and dual 500cfm Carbs. Also added were Hooker Ceramic Coated Headers. Also installed was huge "Be Cool" Radiator and Dual Electric Cooling Fans. Also, Mopar Electronic Ignition.
-- Since purchasing the car in 2013 I had a brand new 727 Torqueflite Transmission with Converter professionally installed as well as 2.5 inch Exhaust and Thrush Mufflers for improved performance and sound. I also added brand new Flex Fan, Moroso Valve Covers, 90 Amp Powermaster Alternator, and a high torque starter for flawless starting in any conditions.
