Selling my 1987 Ram D150 with 60k original miles. The truck is from Texas and was brought to Illinois a few months ago. The truck is in great shape for the year and is rust free. Power windows and door locks, power brakes, power steering, a.c. and heat.
The engine is a 318 5.2L with an edelbrock intake and carb, new valve cover gaskets, new thermostat housing, thermostat and gasket. The truck runs great and shifts smooth with a recent tune up just completed. Its amazing how it puts my newer Silverado to shame in almost every aspect. I haven't driven a smoother vehicle on the highway (at 75mph it feels like you're doing 30).
Brand new American racing rims, and tires have plenty of tread left.
The body is in great condition other than a scrape down the side. The underside of the truck looks like it's from the factory. The paint on the hood and passenger side are starting to peel, but its a nice patina look. If the truck doesn't sell ill just clear coat the paint for a nice patina.
Interior is in great shape other than a small tear in the seat however I have a brand new seat cover for it, dash has no cracking or fading.
The truck needs nearly nothing other than a new gear in the window motor (these motors don't go bad, just a bad plastic gear), ac compresso, and a few minor things to make it perfect.
Anyone who sees the body on the truck cannot believe how clean it is and how it has no rust. It would cost someone over 10k to repair a truck to get a body in this condition, this truck is all original panels with no repairs or accidents. Again it's RUST FREE !
