Description for Dodge Shadow 1991

Attention! This car is a 5 speed manual/stick shift/standard transmission. It has a clutch pedal and a lever to change gears, it is NOT an automatic transmission!
Up for bidding is my 1991 Dodge Shadow High line convertible. It has a 2.5L 4 cylinder with fuel injection and a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has only 57,065 miles on it. The car runs, drives, and looks great. Engine runs smoothly, shifts very nice, clutch works as it should. The heater works well. I put in a am/fm/cd/cassette radio from a 2000 Caravan and that all works properly and looks like it's meant to be there (stock am/fm radio included) and sounds decent. It also has power windows that have had both regulator gears replaced.
The engine has new spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, thermostat and thermostat housing, air filter, pcv valve, valve cover gasket, later style one piece gasket aluminum valve cover (it was painted for a project long ago and I liked it so that's why it's green), and the pcv elbow. I also installed a new timing belt and alternator belt as well as new shifter cable bushings. The exhaust piping was also replaced.
The original owner had a new top and rear window installed back in 2004. After that, that car sat in her garage basically untouched for 10 years until I bought it. She told me she always stored it in winters and I've done the same since I've owned it.
The car has typical scuffs, scratches, and little dings from city life. The worst of it is on the top of the decklid. The inside is in pretty good shape as well. Underbody is extremely clean especially considering the age and area. Please see pictures for condition.
The car also comes with a set of new outside window scrapers for the new owner to install, an extra driver side sill plate, and an extra center arm rest with no cracks.
My main reason for selling it is because I never really have the time to enjoy it. It's a wonderful and reliable little car and I do want it to go to a good home. A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours. Rest is due in 7 days. Car and title will NOT be released if a cashier's check is used until the bank clears it. Storage can be arranged if need be until the car can get picked up. Car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction if need be. It is a 26 year old car and is sold on an AS IS BASIS with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for any shipping, import fees and process, or anything else that involves taking the car to another area.
Thanks for looking at my car! I love this thing and I'm pretty sure you will, too!
