Description for Dodge Daytona 1985

1985 Omni GLH
TURBO hatch

Original 1 owner car prior to us
Comes with a stack of receipts that date back
to the day it was sold new.
If you are looking at this car, you already know
how fun and incredibly rare they are getting.
Most where modded and many trashed over the
last 30+ yrs. Yeah, its been that long since they
came out.. hard to believe.
IF You have less then 10 feedbacks, you have
to email me if you bid on the car. If you dont, we will cancel it.
IF we email you to check your sincerity on buying the car and
dont get a reply within 24 hours.. You will be cancelled and
blocked too from bidding.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Nice mostly unmolested survivor car. It runs and drives
great, with invoices from the last 30 yrs on work done
and misc parts replaced. Including the long block at about
100k miles. It would be a great car to restore and wouldnt
take much either. Has had some paint repair / work done
over the yrs, but all minor stuff. As it sits, it can be a daily
driver. Maybe reconnect the exhaust of course. It comes
with the car, yes.
Here are a few reasons to consider buying this particular
GLH: Clean AZ title
NO rust of rot / great color combo / rare piece of Mopar
80s Muscle car history (and we've seen where muscle car prices have gone from the 70s, these cars times will come
as well) / very original condition / factory AC option/
in 1985 about 3500 of these GLHs total were built, how
many are actually left today ? not many, and very few
this clean at a great price.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: the motor is a 2.2 Turbo New long block installed
at about 103k on the clock. Normal maintance has always been
done over the yrs and the car didnt get driven much in the 2000s
to date, hence the mileage only at 120k now. Clutch feels good and
so do the axles etc.

EXTERIOR: here you can see that the body is pretty amazingly
straight for its age. Paint of course is faded and not great.
LF bumper extension is the only thing I can see missing. NO
rust of rot under the car or its body. Not even the hatch area.
Glass all looks good and all the factory ground effects components
seem to be accounted for and in good shape.

INTERIOR:you can see that its not great, but its acceptable for
a older daily driver. Carpet is prob the worst part. Upholstery of
course shows wear n tear as does most of the interior. No Radio.
This is a factory AC car, but the ACs not been working for about
10 yrs or looked at seeing as the car wasnt being driven all that much.
Shifter feels solid and all the windows work. Only 1 outter door handle
not working (driver rear). Much of the plastic and rubber showing
their age too.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see ..
struts and other parts replaced over the yrs as needed...
Works okay as is, and well kept up,. but its a 30+ yr old car, it may need
shocks or bushings in the future. No mods at least. Its dirty and a light film of
dirt covered most of it for yrs.
Even under the lack of rust under the car, making taking this car apart a breeze.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented 240s on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
