Description for Dodge Coronet 1955
Very nice aqua blue green two tone over original interior. This car is a nice driver. It looks like a show car from 30 feet away but its a nice driver. Rust free body and undercarriage and trunk with exception of a few bubbles down low, and a couple on drivers fender, see pictures its very minor. The gentleman who sold us the car was jumping up and down it was a 2 owner car with original miles at 44,000. We have no documentation, however, things like the rust free undercarriage and trunk original nice interior original chrome--stainless etc lends us to believe him. He also states the motor matches the car but we are not Mopar experts to verify this but it does look to be very original under the hood also.High points are; Body is very nice and straight and paint is approx 10 years old but shows nicely for a driver quality car. All the parts are there and the interior is very nice and original showing signs of its age in the back window the top of rear seat is coming loose its stitches are showing here. Most of the chrome is good on the car however some looks old and rear bumper should be replaced or repaired it has small holes down low. The car runs very well and is nice and tight to drive as a low mileage car would feel on the road. At idle you can barely here it run and shifts like butter steers and handles very good and everything works except radio to my knowledge. The car is bone dry underneath not one drop of anything on showroom floor. This does not happen to us very often with the classics but this one is dry. Up close you will want to replace or redo some of the original chrome and if you are picky you may want to redo paint in a few spots from old trim marks. They are barely visible not sure if they even show in pictures cause they are faint marks. Paint is nice and car looks great many compliments on the road with this one on the way home. We got a good deal on this Coronet so the reserve is set low way below others listed for sale online. Trunk is--was empty it is rust free great shape but no spare tire jack etc.
