Description for Dodge Demon 1972

The NEW 2018 Dodge Demons are out as of this month. Price is $150.000 They claim to have 840 H.P. and will only produce 3,000 total. Yes, I wish I could buy one too, but itain't gonna happen. But I think I have one almost as rare, as there can't be 3,000 of these left. What I have is a very hard to find 1972 Dodge Demon. They were made in 1971 and 1972 only.It had a body on restoration a few years ago, but has been garaged ever since. This is how I bought it, as the owners health failed when he was done, so it just sat in his garage. I'm going to tell you everything he told me. I just bought it for resale as I have many more classic cars. so here we go.It was repainted the original Mopar color BLUE STREAK. I had to look it up myself, but there was such a color. The painter did a decent job as there are no runs anywhere I can see, and I just did a quick spray wax job to make it shine. He stated he found a blue 1971 parts car and stole the original blue hood from it. This would explain the twin hood scoops that cameon the 71 only. The 72s had a single scoop in the middle. The 71 hoodlooks much better. It actually has the two round factory holes under the scoops for some kind of air induction, which is missing. The hood is original color I believeand is just slightly lighter in color than the new paint. The engine is a 1974 Dodge 360 LA, Holly four barrel, completely rebuilt, mild cam, and new crank and pistonswith very few miles on it. The odometer says 99,100 miles on it, but very few of those since restored. Probably less than 500 miles on the engine.I've driven it 50 miles or so and it's a blast to drive. The enginedoesn't smoke or leak oil or any fluids.. It has headers with stainless exhaust that comes out in front of the rear tires. Exhaust is still in great shape. Has an awesome rumble to it. The 727 torqueflight transmission was supposedly rebuilt also, and shifts fine and strong. The automatic shifter was originally on the steering column but it now has a floor mounted B&M shifter. The new tires are a few years old, but have very few miles on them and all the tread left. Original MoparDemon wheels. The rear end is 8 3/4 inch sure grip, which I was told was original to the car. Not sure the gear ratio. No PS or PBs. All glass is in excellent shape, and door windows roll down easily. It has the original quarter glass in the back. The trunk is ingood shape, with the spare tire under the carpet. There are just a couple very small rust holes under the carpet. It also has new coil over shocks front and back. As you can see, the car has a whole new interior in it. New black carpet, recovered original seats, professionally done, new dash pad, and the headliner looks like brand new although he said it was original. Nothing on the dash was modified, and everything works. Has a Grant GT steering wheel. New seat belts. All the lights and turn signals work great. Mechanically this car is in good shape, and looks very decent. It could use new bumpers or have them rechromed, as they are dull. New ones are on Ebay. Same ones used on Dusters. The frame on this car is very good, but the underside was neglected duringbody on restoration. It's scaly but not rusty. Needs a good sand blasting to get the rust scales off. Also the inner fenders don't look very nice, with some metal patches. This is not a show car yet, but with a little more work it could be. The Demons were only made in 71 and 72, so they are very rare. I've never seen one at any of the hundreds of car shows I've attended. This car has had a lot of work done on it, and is probably worth much more than my reserve. But I just bought more classics and am totally out of storage. I am always open to offers or trades, so don't be afraid to ask. Or cash offer is what I like best. I have it listed locally also so it could sell before this auction is over. If you want it, please call or text me and we can make a deal.I can have this car delivered anywhere in the U.S. and even overseas. But I will not release the car and title until I am paid in full. I do not use paypa, so it will have to bea certified bank check, or better yet, immediate bank to bank wire transfer. This I would prefer, as it takes 7 days for any check to clear my bank. and YES, I have had one that was fraudulent. (That's the guy who left me negative feedback) He's no longer an ebay member, but he sure messed my feedback up, and ebay will not remove it. I have plenty of references if you want them, even in England, Australia, and others. I used to sell vintage motorcycles all over the world, so have customers overseas. So I am very carefull before releasing a vehicle. If you are picking it up personally I require cash only. If you're going to take longer than three days to pick it up, I'll require a $500 deposit by bank to bank wire transfer. Unless you have a better quicker method. I can store it for a couple weeks, but then it has to be PAID IN FULL first.(7 DAYS)Any way you are paying, if it's taking longer than3 days, I need that $500 deposit orthe car goes to the next guy. If you really want it before this auction is over, just make a decent offer. I just may take it. Ask any questions by email. I'll try to answer all. Call or text me at 567-295-9060 My name is Richard. I don't have a ridiculous reserve, and actually way less than it's worth. Oh yea, the stereo works too. Not original but it reallysounds good. The dash was not cut or altered in any way. All original.Thank you for looking, and may God bless you all. Richard at Motorcycle Missions (my shop) My zip: 45859 Phone or text 567-295-9060
