What else really is there to say about a Daytona Charger? These cars command attention and with the pointed nose and large tail fin there is no doubting that they were intended for the track. The Daytona Charger competed in Nascar races and to this day still holds some records. Only 503 Daytonas were ever built and this car is one of them. 503 is the production number and even less have been found so it is unknown how many of those are even still in existence. As with most rare cars there are always those out there building fakes to make a quick dollar but this car is completely documented. Not only does it come with the original build sheet and window sticker but all of the numbers were decoded and confirmed by Galen Govier which should be a familiar name if you know Mopars. This awesome muscle car was extremely well cared for and was pampered its entire life. It underwent a complete restoration in 1989 and has been in beautiful condition ever since. Everything has been kept the original appearance with all of the components painted as they were from the factory. It starts well and drives down the road nicely. Disc brakes are found up front and are power assisted which is factory along with the power steering system. The interior is complete in black vinyl throughout. The high back bucket seats are comfortable and sit to each side of the original center console. All of the original components are in place on the dash including the Music Master AM Radio. Popping the trunk you will find the original jack and spare wheel set up plus the original decals on the deck lid.
