THE MOTOR IN THE CAR IS NOT THE CORRECT #'S MATCHING 383 BUT IS A 1969/70 (10/20/69) DATE STAMPED ON THE BLOCK WHICH MAKES IT A 70 AND IT IS A F BLOCK BEING NON HP. EXHAUST EXITS THROUGH A SET OF BEAUTIFUL MANCINNI RACING 1 7/8 ' PRIMARY INTO 3" COLLECTOR LONG TUBE HEADERS INTO DUAL 3" PIPES INTO 3" TURBO MUFFLERS AND 3" TURNDOWN TIPS EXITING BEFORE THE REAR AXLE. THE TIPS ARE TACKED ON SO NEW OWNER CAN BUY TAILPIPES AND TIPS AND HAVE A FULL 3" EXHAUST!THE FACTORY ORIGINAL # MATCHING BLOCK IS INCLUDED IN THE SALE!!!! THE ORIGINAL BLOCK HAS HAD FRESH MACHINE WORK DONE BUT HAD TO BE BORED TO . 060 AND THIS OTHER COMPLETE 383 CAME ALONG FOR THE RIGHT MONEY AND WAS INSTALLED WHILE THE ORIGINAL BLOCK WAS SET ON A SHELF IN THE GARAGE STILL IN THE BAG FROM THE MACHINE SHOP!!!THE TRANSMISSION WAS SENT TO BREWERS TRANSMISSIONS AND WAS REBUILT TO HANDLE 600+ HP THAT THE OWNER WAS HOPING TO MAKE IN THE CAR SOME DAY. NEW HURST SHIFTER. SHIFT HANDLE. AND WHITE 4 SPEED SHIFT BALL. THIS CAR IS REALLY REALLY WELL DONE. EVERYTHING FROM THE 4 SPEED INDICATOR ON THE DASH TO THE PEDALS AND EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS ORIGINAL BUT DOES NOT HAVE A BROADCAST SHEET AND OR A FENDER TAG. THE RAMCHARGER FRESH AIR DOOD IS COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL AND ALL WORKS AS IT SHOULD BY PULLING THE RED "FRESH AIR" HANDLE UNDER THE DASH LETTING COOL OUTSIDE AIR RUSH INTO THE TWO FUNCTIONAL SCOOPS ON THE HOOD. VERY COOL RAM AIR INDUCTION THAT LOOKS BAD ASS WITH THE HOOD OPEN OR CLOSED! (THE 14" UN-SILENCED AIR CLEANER IS JUST ON THE CAR FOR PICTURES) THE OVAL BASE PLATE AND AIR CLEANER IS MISSING AND A CHROME AIR CLEANER WILL BE ON THE CAR FOR THE SALE. FOR EXTRA MONEY A CORRECT AFTERMARKET BASEPLATE AND AIR CLEANER CAN BE INSTALLED. BUT AGAIN AT EXTRA COST TO THE WINNING BIDDER. THE FRONT SUSPENSION HAS BEEN REPLACED OVER THE YEARS AND SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE WITH TORN OUTER TIE ROD BOOTS BEING THE ONLY PROBLEM AND THATS ONLY FROM AGE. THIS CAR DRIVES AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS AND AGAIN IS A PLEASURE TO CRUISE AND HAS ALL THE PIN YOU TO THE SEAT HORSE POWER THE 245/60/14 BF GOODRICH T/A'S CAN HANDLE (OR NOT HANDLE!)THE BODY IS LAZER STRAIGHT WITH ALL ORIGINAL SHEET METAL AND AS FAR AS I CAN TELL HAS HAD MINIMAL BODYWORK DONE ASIDE FROM BEING PAINTED OVER THE YEARS. THE PAINT IS A BEAUTIFUL METALLIC BLUE THAT LOOKS AMAZING UNDER FLORESCENT LIGHTS AND IS EVEN MORE STUNNING IN THE SUNLIGHT! NO VINYL TOP AND WHITE BUMBLE BEE STRIPE REALLY SETS THIS BEE OFF! THE FLOORBOARDS ARE PERFECT AS ARE THE CROSS MEMBERS AND FRAME RAILS FRONT AND REAR. THE ONLY RUST THIS ONE HAD WAS IN THE CENTER OF THE TRUNK FLOOR AND IT WAS REPLACED WITH SHEET METAL (THE PAINT AND BODYWORK WAS DONE BACK IN THE LATE 80's OR 90'sAS FAR AS WE KNOW) THE FLOOR STILL HAS A HOLE CUT AT THE FRONT FOR AN ACCESS TO A FUEL PUMP FROM BACK IN THE DAY. A CENTER FLOOR SECTION FROM AMD WILL FIX THIS AND BE AN INEXPENSIVE FIX. (I AM AN AMD SHEET METAL DEALER AND CAN GET BETTER PRICES THAN ON EBAY ON MOPAR PARTS ONLY)THE INTERIOR IS ALMOST AS NICE AS THE OUTSIDE AND UNDERNEATH OF THE CAR. THE SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED IN ORIGINAL BLACK COVERS BY LEGENDARY INTERIORS. ACC CORRECT CARPET AND NEW TRUNK DIVIDER AND PACKAGE TRAY. THE ORIGINAL DOOR PANELS ARE JUST PERFECT AS ARE THE ARM RESTS. THE DASH IS NICELY DETAILED BUT COULD USE A DASH PAD OR CAP BUT IS STILL VERY NICE. THIS IS A COOL CAR NOT HAVING A CONSOLE AND BEING A 4 SPEED! THE DOWN SIDE TO THE INTERIOR ASIDE FROM THE DASH PAD IS THE ORIGINAL HEADLINER HAS NEVER BEEN REMOVED AND HAS SOME VERY SMALL HOLES AND IS MISSING THE SHOULDER HARNESSES (HOPEFULLY THERE IS A BROADCAST SHEET HIDDEN UP THERE!!!)
