1968 Volkswagen Westfalia Pop-top A Groovy Kind of Love 1968 VW Westfalia Pop-top Campmobile Here's something you don't see everyday. a '68 Westy Campmobile. It's the first year for the classic baywindow design. and it has the Westfalia Camper package. plus it's a pop-top! A rare bird. indeed. This bus runs excellent and has a rebuilt engine. Tires are brand new. It features the folding Z bed. cabinets. and custom sink set up. Body is rust-free. but is in need of a paint job. Here's a fine opportunity to get into a vintage VW bus and start living the dream! The bus is a blast to own. drive. and explore nature with. The bus did serve them well. and he was quite reluctant to sell it. Steering wheel has a little play at standstill. but is fine when driving down the road. with no shimmies or shaking. Tires are brand new. Gearbox is excellent; shifting is effortless. and there's no grinding or popping out of any gear. Brakes operate great and the pedal is firm. Even the emergency brake still operates.
