Description for Dodge Dakota 1992
This was my dad's first and only pickup. He was very proud of his truck and it shows in it's superb condition. I doubt you will find a nicer Dodge Dakota. This truck will take you where you need to go or make a whale of an additionfor any Dodge collector or museum. It has less than 34,000 miles. Ran and drove great this past summer on a couple tripsof 400 & 800 miles I took just for fun. As you can tell by the mileage it has never been exactly a "daily driver", but if you want, go for it. The original window sticker and sales brochure come with the truck. I would like to keep the bill of sale for myself at this time. The two pictures with the blue tape and dime show the only cosmetic issues. There is a rock chip on the front of the hood and a brown spot on the passenger seat. The only things I can think of that are non original are the tires(the spare is original and has never touched the ground),muffler, battery cut off, fluids, and one of the front brake calipers was changed this year because it was hanging up a little and I wanted to get going on my 800 mile trip. The muffler was replaced after the trip. The current tires have probably 7000 miles on them and are about 10 years old. The battery cut off was addedI'm guessing20 years ago because from the day it was delivered it had an issue draining the battery if you didn't drive it every few days. The dealer could never figure it out so Dad got disgusted after taking it back probably 4 or 5timesso I just put the cut off on for him. The heaviest load this truck most likely ever carried was a couple bags of grass clippings. It has never towed anything. The Radco topper and bed mat were installed when new, thus the bed has never seen rain or snow. The topper has a window on each side that opens for loading and one screened window on each side (these windows open inward).I just don't rememberif it was ever winter driven. Check out the window sticker for all the factory options, $5500 worth. The jack and tools have never been out from the under back seat storage. This truck is not repainted, rebuilt, restored, cleaned up to make it pretty for pictures,or anything of the sort. Bought clean and kept clean. This is as new from the dealership. Dad's been gone over a dozen years now and my health makes me see the light as to why I don't need all the vehicles I have. I would really like to see this go to someone in the south so it stays rust free but I guess the high bidder gets it no matter where they are from. Please do not contact me if you are trying to run some scam or other bs, you will not like what I have to tell you. If you have an interest please don't wait to bid as it can be sold locally also. Cashinhand before you can drive it away.Thank you and please ask any questions you may have. I will take calls from 8 to 8 cst if you aregenuinely interested in a purchase. 605-338-0148
