Description for Dodge Dart 1974

Here is a very nice original unmolested Dodge Dart Swinger. It's a 31, auto, PS, PB, AC. The only thing I can tell that's been modified is the vinyl top has been removed and the roof painted, and previous owner put chrome valve covers on(I have the originals ).This car is as rust free as any I've ever seen. It has mostly been under roof its whole life. The only body issues I can find are the dent in drivers door (pic) and where the trim was removed at rear of vinyl top-the holes were just filled with bondo. There are some very insignificant pecks and scratches here and there. The paint is faded and such. The belt line trim was removed and there is still the outline of the adhesive. The interior shows some wear on drivers backrest. Otherwise near perfect. No cracks in dash, wheel or headliner.I bought this car from a deceased lady's son(cliche' but true) just like it is.I drove it 60 miles home with no issue. Good power and smooth shifting. AC does not blow cold of course. Steering felt good . Brakes are ok but pedal is a little har, like booster has a vacuum leak. This is likely as idle seems a little lean. I have not turned a carb screw or investigated.I bought this for personal use. Was going to get a Maaco paint job, nice wheels/tires, tune it and roll. But I decided to pair down my vehicles due to a relocation .I did notice a little play in ball joints and it could use a set of shocks. However, I wouldn't hesitate to take off in it right now. Also the speedo seems to have a mind of its own. Appeared accurate up to 70, then it danced quite a bit.The trunk pan and floors have no rust. The door and window rubbers look great.I am more than happy to answer any questions that I can. But be aware that I've only put about 100 miles or so on it myself. I can't guarantee anything mechanical for any length of time-but I can't find any problems other than the minor stuff I mentioned. This car could be made near mint with minimal effort .The car is located in Monroe, NCI'm not going to ship for you but I will help any way I can.If you buy i, you can PayPal me a deposit and settle balance at pick up.Thank, Kent7046073106
