Description for Dodge Other Pickups 1942
1942 Dodge WF-32 U. S. Gov. vehicle with the exceptionally rare Factory Optional Low-Lite Headlights. Original Montana Barn Find with 42K miles! NO RUST! 100% U. S. A Steel has been preserved in excellent condition (Please see pictures!). CURRENT MONTANA TITLE IN MY NAME. Title will be sent to auction winner via Registered U. S Mail. This is a very low production vehicle. The serial number indicates it was built as a production run of 3. 31 WF vehicles originally produced between 1941 and 1947. It is unknown how few of those had the RARE factory-optional aerodynamic low-mounted head lights instead of the ordinary "bug eye" lights on all the other Dodge Trucks of the period. The head lights were not only located in a lower and more aerodynamic position. but the fenders do NOT have the normal stamped depression for mounting the normal bug eye lights. Please look at other images of Dodge trucks of this period and you will be surprised how FEW are low-lite models! I can only find photos of less than 10! Add to this that Legacy Power Wagon claims that less than 1. 00 WF-32's (most with bug-eye lights) exist and listed theirs at $45. 00! Here is a rare opportunity to restore or hot-rod one of the rarest Dodge Truck body styles. This is a barn-find. The body has zero rust. Many layers of paint were removed to reveal the beautiful USA steel. The drive-train is all factory original. Everything is present and complete. The engine is free and turns over with spark but seems to have low compression. perhaps from sitting so long. It back-fired a few times but didn't start. I am in a wheelchair now and need to pass this on. This was a WWII military vehicle that was auctioned to a local ranch after the war. The bed looks to be a factory original stake bed. This auction has No Reserve and NO Buy-It-Now. Please bid with confidence that I will NOT pull the auction before close. The highest bidder WINS the truck! Please let me know if you have any questions. Marcus at 406-360-8628. Thanks for checking out this cool old truck!
