Description for Dodge Charger 1969

1969 Dodge Charger Dukes of Hazzard tribute car. Total restoration was done to this car 2004-2006. The deep orange of this car really shines and has the complete "General Lee" decal package on it. Car has power brakes and power steering. Aluminum radiator with dual pusher fans. A professional racing engine was built in it in August of 2006 using a 400 blk bored out to 464 and camed. Also installed a 8:10 posi track rear end from Randy's ring and pinon to really grab the road and go! Original car had an automatic on the column, that has been changed out to a rebuilt 69 charger 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. There is dual exhaust complete up to the headers. A Demon 950 feeds it the fuel with a MSD ignition system. This car loves to go fast and be loud just like the Duke boys always did.

Interior has been completely redone with custom fabrics and stitching in the seat back and on panel behind rear seat. Orange piping and stitching really sets it off. Tinted windows. Complete Auto Meter gauge kit in dash that has blue light at night that really makes the orange piping in the car pop. Vintage Air aftermarket heating and AC unit. Dixie horn kit and compressor in engine compartment. Aftermarket CD player in dash, 6 disc changer under passenger seat, custom fiberglass sub woofer box in trunk. Alpine speakers and subs, this system really thumps. Light bars in trunk to show off custom box. Alarm system. Roll bar and front push bar. Air shocks in rear to give it a really nice stance.

This car definitely gets lots of attention. Seeing the General Lee seems to put a smile on everyone's face. Plan on getting your picture taken whenever you go out. With the motor and exhaust system I found it really fun to drive where the sound would reverberate. I had it just recently appraised in July 2019 and it was graded as Very Good to Fine. He praised how straight the body lines where, the quality of the paint job, the cleanliness of the vehicle overall and the premium additions that also made it thrilling to drive.
