Description for Dodge Power Wagon 1977
FOR SALE 1977 Dodge W100 Short Wide. Has factory 440 with 84K original miles. 727 auto transmission. factory rollbar. sunroof. rear slider. and the awesome split bench with the buddy seat. I have the original stereo and quartz clock. This truck is a daily driver. it runs great. it drives great. and it looks great. It does have some rust in the cab and front fenders. I have a pair of extra front fenders that will go with it. Ive done a ton of research on this truck and it appears to be one of 13 trucks Dodge put out called a "Draw" truck. It was for highlighting the options of several trucks (Warlock. Lil Red Express. Dude. Top Hand) all wrapped up in one. The graphics are painted on. not decals. Only the Draw trucks were painted. Emissions in 1977 were killing the Muscle Cars so Dodge found a loophole and created the "Adult Toy" series. This was the "Raptor" of the 70s. This will become a very Collectable truck in the near future. I purchased this truck from a friend who had purchased it from an Estate sell. According to my information. I am the second registered owner. The truck was supposed to go to the original owners Granddaughter after he passed but she chose to sell it. This is a very unique truck. It is the lightest duty truck Dodge made (W100). with the biggest motor Dodge made at the time (440). The truck deserves a second shot at life and Im not in a position to give it the time it needs. I will include a book which explains some of its history. What I have come to find out is that it could very well be a diamond in the ruff.
