Description for Dodge Coronet 1970

Up for bidding selling at NO RESERVE.This car will sell to the highest bidder. This is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee WM21NOG Post car.Only 1710 of these were produced. It came from the factory with EK2 aka Go Mango And I believe it came with Super Bee "C Stripes".It is powered by a 383 Magnum V8 727 Automatic with Black Buckets and Factory Console Floorshift.Although the numbers matching engine and transmission are long gone, the Super Bee does have a very close to Date Correct 1970 383 HP engine,(within a couple months)that RUNS and yard DRIVES.Date of 727 unknown. The Bee has very solid interior floors, with only a couple spots that need patching. It will need trunk floors, frame rails in rear have some perforations, but no real rot, however the front crossmember and T cap frame rails are very nice. The underhood area is nice as well, missing fendertag. All the glass and trim are intact. It has the very desirable and rare "Bulge" Hood with scoops on it which is a very good peice, however the underpinning was drilled out and removed for what ever reason, but a very solid 70 coronet flat hood is included with the auction. The bumpers are straight(need rechroming).Has a very nice front lower valance(again 1 year only stuff)The grills are very decent, with a couple cracks and the normal "separation",useable and repairable.Very nice non vinyl top roof, but does have some rust around rear window.Fenders and doors are not beat up but have rust, may be useable, judgement call.Trunklid will need replaced. The fact that the car hasn't been run into the garage wall, guardrail or sideways into a telephone pole says a lot.Its not beat up.Not all dinged up,structurally straight. It is a project car and needs a full resto,or make it mechanically stable and drive it as it is.8-3/4 rearend, gears unknown.Still largely original paint,it has been sanded on,partially primered and then neglected, will need 1/4s replaced or lower patches(again judgement call) Has the original Black bucket seats(70 only metal hinges).Rally gauges, with Tic Toc Tach and woodgrain dash trim.Interior is nearly complete with rear seat intact as well.Clear Missouri Title.Any questions just ask.NO RESERVE
The wheels and tires on the car do NOT go with the car,it will have wheels with tires that hold air on it when you or your shipper arrive to pick it up.We will assist with loading.
