Description for Dodge Other Pickups 1979

1979 RARE Dodge Warlock Custom 100 with a factory 4 Speed with 4 on the floor in original black / primer with black bucket seats, 2WD, 318 Cubic inch 5.2 Liter V8 automatic transmission, rear sliding windows, 15" steel wheels and new brakes. 102,312 original miles.

We consider this truck a well-presented driver, and comparing it to current appraisal guides, place its value at about $10,000. It will be a fun project, I just don’t have the time for it. I have the new carpet in the box ready to install. I also have a 440 Engine and transmission (for an additional charge) if you want to replace it. The truck was running when I parked it and will start.

The Warlock, introduced with limited production in 1976 with regular production beginning in 1977. The Warlock package would only last until 1979. Included in the package was a variety of features meant to allow buyers to purchase a truck with custom flair direct from the dealer. These included gold pinstripe accents both inside and out, gold wheels, bucket seats, oak sideboards, and chrome everywhere– including diamond plate mini running boards. Aside from cosmetics, the trucks were essentially a Custom D-100 or W-100 stepside. A host of engine options were available, including this 318-cubic-inch V8, which was capable of anywhere from 180 to well over 250 horsepower depending on application. For what is mostly an appearance package, this truck would need some attention to present as it did when new. All the stickers have faded along with the paint that one would expect on a truck of this vintage. On the other hand, the truck does run and drive: it might be a fun project and get it back on the road pretty much as is. Even with its current patina, it’s bound to stand out in any crowd of classic pickups.

If you are looking for a really great truck, I am willing to let it go for $8,500 for a quick sale.
