1985 Dodge Ramcharger with a Cummins 12 valve diesel swap along with a complete 3/4 ton chasis. This complete swap was done with a complete running 1992 3/4 ton Dodge Ram donor. The core support was also swapped over to keep the inner cooler on the engine. This complete set up is completely stock, mainly for dependabilty purposes. The transmission is an automatic with a manually switched on over-drive. The AC blows ice cold sometimes but then again it may blow medium cool. The engine temp has never reached 180 degrees normally it runs about 155. There is absolutely ZERO rust thru on this veicle, there are a few spots where the paint is scratched and it may have surface rust but Which is not an issue. The body is pretty straight, the upper surfaces can use some paint, the hood and tops of the fenders are patinaed and crazing. This vehicle is as close to a bugout vehicle you can get while retaining the creature comforts. The electric fuel shut off solenoid has been removed and all of the electrical to the starter motor have been reworked for simplicity purposes. To start the vehicle, you just push the start button, turn the key on to unlock the column and you are running. To shut it off, just pull the lever and the that shuts the fuel off.
