This was the first year for the Challenger which was classed as an E Body. They were only built from 70-74 until they came roaring back in the late 2000’s. The one we have for you is a fresh Rotisserie Resto with only 100 miles on it. If you want a True Muscle Car this is with a 528 Crate Hemi that has over 600HP. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Dodge. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body was pulled apart and put on a rotisserie where the metal work was done. Hours were spent block and sanding to give this car a laser straight body that was covered in Bright Red Paint top and bottom. Everything was buffed to a mirror finish before it was all put together. It has new bumpers along with other trim. All the glass was installed with new seals. It has all new weather stripping and all the stainless was polished before it was reinstalled. It’s an SE so it has the vinyl top and the small rear window. and it has the rear wing as well. It also has the exhaust cutouts in the rear valance with the stock tips. To finish off the exterior it’s sitting on a set of 18’ and 20” Americans. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the RT. It’s all done in classic black and it looks new down to the carpet. It has the white face gauges with gauges added on the A Pillar. It has the correct bucket seats and console. The SE had the over head console as well. The steering wheel has been upgraded to Billet wrapped in blackFinally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it’s neat and clean and powered by a 528 Hemi with Aluminum Heads. It has the Black Aluminum Valve Covers with the cast iron headers. The exhaust is 3” with Flows. The trans is a 727 Torque Flit that is mated to a 8 ¾” Rear End. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes Up front. When you look under this ride it looks as it should with painted and polished floors and all new front end. They added frame connectors to help hold the power out back.
