Description for Dodge Other Pickups 1967
Hello folks. up for auction is my 1967 Dodge 400 Farm truck. Truck has 31. 00 original miles. I do have clear title to the truck. The only rust on the truck is the bottom edge of the drivers door where the (outside only) of the bottom edge is peeping thru. everything else is solid. Truck has a nice running slant 6 with manual trans although I have not started truck in 2 years. should start up with some gas in carb and a fresh battery ( I do not have a battery to go with truck). The bed wood floor needs replacing but the side racks are solid and original. The truck will need brakes. when I say this it is specifically the rt rear wheel cylinder has leaked and has the drum stuck in place. It was stuck when I bought it and I free'd it up and has stuck again from not moving it. additionally a guy was interested in it a few months back and felt the need to put most of his wieght on the brake and popped a metal line under the master cyl. this is an easy fix. I would prob just do all of them including lines just because. The original seat looks great with the only issue being that the piping on the drivers side has started to come off but has not affected the upholstery. The headliner is there but is coming down. no rips in it. All glass is good and the picture shows the side mirror missing but it is inside the truck with the original screws. the right fender has a non cresed dent and could be repaired with minimal body filler. Engine has an exhaust leak between intake and exhaust but does not affect running. just can hear it. To make the truck functional you will need to do brakes. put a battery in it. gas it. and a wood floor in the bed. I had plans of making a parade vehicle that I could use to haul hay and look classy at the same time. but also have too many projects and not enough cash. Original tires still hold air. I have a low reserve on this truck to move it along. Would make a great rollback or car hauler or just use it to haul hay or grain or whatever. $500. 00+/- non refundable deposit due at auctions end with balance due in cash at pickup. Will hold for 30 days but I am also willing to work with schedules if its over 30 days. This truck fit easily on my 18ft 102" wide care trailer and pulled it just fine with our Suburban. of course my wife puckered the passenger seat in the tow vehicle a bit while i was driving but I would have total confidence in transporting to another state. Would probably remove side racks for transport just because of wind resistance. may consider delivery for between 1. 50-2. 00 per loaded mile depending on location. would like to stay within 200 miles or so. I can be reached at 410 703 9615 if you have any specific questions. Can be seen anytime. I have desribed the truck as accurate as possible but keep in mind you are buying it as-is with knowing it has not been started in 2 yrs. When I bought it it hadnt been started in 10 yrs and I had it running in 20 minutes after I got it home and it idled great. I do have truck listed local so I reserve the right to end auction early however if it meets reserve I will not end auction. ask any questions. phone calls work best but emails are fine. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!!!!!
