Description for Dodge Charger 1969
You are bidding on a 1969 Dodge Charger GENERAL LEE. Clone. The car has a 440 Magnum engine that has been rebuilt and has a mild cam and has aprox 375 Horsepower. The motor has about 3500 miles on it and runs great. I just had the 727 transmission completely rebuilt with a mild shift kit and factory torque converter. The rear end was completely rebuilt with 3:55 gears with positraction . The motor has a new edlebrock 700 cfm carburetor and intake manifold. The engine compartment is nice and was painted orange and looks great I also have installed March polished aluminum serpentine pulley system (looks nice) I installed a aluminum radiator with electric fans. The car also has a a new flowmaster American Thunder dual exhaust with original charger exhaust tips looks great and sounds awesome. The front windshield is perfect is new with no imperfections all side glass is in excellent condition and the back glass is original with a couple of small scratches. The paint is aprox 8 years old and looks great it does have a few small scratches and stone chips. With one bad scratch on passenger rear quarter below the marker light and I have included a picture of it. (I will include original paint for touch up). The 01's on the doors were stenciled and sprayed as well as the flag on the roof. (Looks great) all the rest are decals. The front grill is in very nice condition as well as the trim. The headlight doors have to be manually operated the actuators are excellent condition but needs a new switch. The wheels are original Parnelli Jones wheels that are in excellent condition no curb damage. The fronts are 15x8 and the rears are 15x9. 5 the car gas a great stance the tires are Kelley Chargers and have aprox 3000 miles on them. The interior of the car is very nice it had the general lee roll bar in it but i had removed it made it hard to get in the back seat. There are no rips in the seats. and the dash has had all the factory gauges replaced with modern aftermarket gauges looks great but i am having a problem with fuel gauge giving a proper reading it may need a sending unit. The carpet is decent but has some staining on it. I also replaced the gear selector has been replaced with a B&M mega shifter looks great. The car has been in storage for almost 2 years I just don't have time to use it and thus why I'm selling. the car runs and drives great but there are a few things I haven't had time to get to repair starting with the heater core is currently bypassed and needs replaced( I will include a brand new heater core in the box) also I noticed from sitting the brakes are a little spongy( probably need to be bled) but I'm also including a brand new set of brake calipers as I was going to replace them and had bought them before I put the car away in storage. lso the interior is missing a few little trim piece such as seat backs I was going to buy new ones and never got around to it. again. I also have a new RT emblem for the front grill but have not got around to getting the proper clip to install. and I never got around to buying hood blinkers for the car it is already wired but I do not have the blinker assemblies you can purchase them for about $220 for the complete set. and also the car is equipped with Dixie horns sometime they work sometime they dont( I think there is a problem with the relay). I have tried to make this car nicer than your average GENERAL LEE and only needs minor work and parts to be complete and time detailing to make her show ready. I have tried to list everything that has been done to restore the car. and I may have forgot to list something as this car is pretty much new front to back so Please feel free to ask questions or contact me if you would like view the car or have car inspected. The car is a 1969 Dodge Charger and obviously is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied also the pick up and shipping of the vehicle will be arranged by the buyer and at the buyers expense. also the buyer assumes all financial liability when the car is picked up. I have a clean Ohio title for the car. A $2000. 00 (two thousand dollars) non refundibable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end and payment in full within 7 days of auction end. I will be very accommodating for the pick up of the car.
