Description for Dodge Coronet 1969
I'm not a BS'er or flipper/reseller with my cars just an avid and knowledgable classic car enthusiast. Here is an honest assessment of our Coronet R/T. VIN WS23L9E139015 Verified real R/T by Galen Govier's service with all paperwork. Real fender tag on a real R/T - This is not one of those reconstructed or assembled cars with a replica tag. 52237 actual miles - yes they are certified by previous owner. F5 Green/ White Vinyl top / Green interior 440 4bbl with 727 Torqueflight auto Matching numbers car with A/C. Rock solid body floors trunk and frame. Magnet sticks everywhere. All original sheet metal. Original interior in great shape. Older restoration I'm guessing about five year old paint. Looks like Poly enamel. Very nice paint 8/10 to 9/10. Three small chips about 1/8" on car. Original undercoating still on car. When car was painted they did not replace the vinyl top.Top is original to car and while presentable should be replaced to match the paint for best overall look. This is an excellent example of an original R/T that is not all rodded up chopped up or built from six different cars. All owners manuals keys and docs present. Engine starts every time. Carb has slight leak by acc pump. AC does not work but all original parts are there. Brakes steering lights etc.. are fine. Factory Mag wheels no aftermarket junk on the vehicle. All glass is perfect. No warning lights etc.. displayed on instrument panel. All gauges work. Passenger side glass pack has small 1/4" hole in it. Rear shocks could use to be replaced as driver's side shock does not hold load. Transmission leaks will need new pan gasket and seals. Lever from carb to transmission that actuates shift point jams from time to time and should be addressed. I assume a bushing is worn that the lever moves or turns on somewhere behind the firewall and transmission needs replaced. Car drives when shifted manually from 12 to D and with lever disconnected from carb. I simply do not have the time to work on or finish this car the way it should be.Can be classified as somewhere between good to very good Condition. Can be termed a 'survivor' car with one repaint. With the overall condition it is in this is a true R/T car that can be A-1 with minimal expense or time.Priced according to several sources including Hagerty NADA etc.. I am not a dealer or car flipper and this is not a fire sale. Please do not waste both of our time with some BS lowball stuff. Asking a realistic price for a Mopar that is a decent solid vehicle and not one of those vehicles that has been assembled from many cars. Please contact me with any questions on the vehicle or additional pics. Do not contact me to consign my car or to sell it for me. Notice - ZERO Feedback bidders will be removed and blocked unless they contact me first to verify they are serious buyers.
