Description for Other Makes Eagle 1984
This vehicle has been in my family since it was only a few years old. A relative bought it for his wife to drive in our harsh winters and it was also used for several years while their son went to college. All-in-all it has seen light use and spent the last 15 yrs or so in storage in a dry garage. The body and interior are in very good shape, ike you'd expect in a much newer car. The exterior paint is in good condition with minor scratches and chips and one spot where there's rust colored discoloration. The paint should look very good after touching up and buffing out. The "ding" in the right front fender is old damage that was repaired in a body shop, ut the filler pulled away from the metal and must be redone. For a car that is over 30 yrs old, t's deficiencies are few. It had a stripped out oil drain plug which has been corrected. It had a broken speedometer drive which has been replaced. The carburetor has been rebuilt and oil and filter changed. Things that need to be done include finishing the repair to the right front fender, aint and reinstall the front valance panel, nstall the new gas tank (included), einstall the front headlight fixtures (aiming screws were replaced), umper and grill and finish running new gas lines.
I had planned on finishing this project and adding it to my "collection", ut ill health has prevented me from completing the work. Now, ife wants her basement back so the project must go!
