Per the Dino Compendium p. 259, errari producedonly401 Euro GTS Dinos and p. 207 shows these Euro versions command a 20% price premium. The lighter weight of the Euro version body combined with the more aggressive Euro cams, hree lobe distributor andfree flowing Ansa headers /exhaustmake this a superior driving car to its USA counterpart. USA cars also have extra plumbing in the engine compartment which heat soaks that area.I have owned this car for 10 years and it has never hesitated to start nor suffered hot start issues like US cars can.
CONDITION:Fresh paint, hrome with full chassis rust abatement. Hi Res Photos were taken at an equestrian center for their triple white fences with critical reflections that reveal any imperfection in the paint. Please zoom-in to inspect the horizontal fence lines reflecting in the paint showing the car surfaces being true and even. Full rust abatement meant over $20,000.00 in metalwork prior to paint for clean up on the chin and rear valence then replacing the RHS rocker and LHS rear arch. The belly pan was removed to inspect the internal channels and found to be in great condition only needing paint sealing. Make sure you view:- the chin, esult is gorgeous (this area is typically the first to show wearon Dinos)- the critical S curve where the flying buttress meets the rear quarter panel
MECHANICALS:Major servicing just completed including valve adjust, ll fluids, ilters. All new hoses for engine cooling, uel, il, nd vacuum systems. Includes every engine hose and the rarely changedtunnel cooling hosesalong with the stainless braided oil cooler hoses. The radiator has been re-cored, ew cooling fans installed, ater pump rebuilt, ew thermostat installed then the header tank and heat exchanger were boiled clean, ressure tested and painted. FuelTanks removed, leaned and painted.Carbs rebuilt, new fuel lines installed and Scuderia Rampante Dino cross tank and filler neck silicon hoses mounted (industry best). New vacuum line from the brake booster to the engine installed with the visible check valve restored. The European version Ansa headers and exhaust were cleaned and then ceramic coated to preserve the rare OEM items (They sound GREAT!)The magnesium valve covers are feather light and have had their natural luster restored with vapour blasting. Periodically I have had Oil Analysis testing at the time of oil changes which many feel is a good indicator of engine health, lease find an image of the oil analysis history of Dino 05082.
The car drives and brakes straight with the proper Michelin XWX tires mounted on restored correct Cromodora wheels. The critical 2nd Gear synchro shifts smooth and precisely. The Marelli AEC-103A box has been gutted and a reliable MSD 6AL2 fitted without any concours disparity appearing full OEM. New distributor cap, arelli labelled MSD coil and plug wires. During the Dash recovering all instruments' electrical contacts were cleaned. Even the clock works.
This Dino starts easily, olds idle nicely and runs so nicely that it begs you to drive faster (NOTE: This excuse does not work on officers, hey just don't get it).
This is one of the best driving Dinos and is in top condition. Buy a one way ticket and drive this home. This Dino is also being advertised locally, reserve the right to end early. Thank you for looking.
