This is a 94 Ferrari 348 Spider CLEAN TITLE project car. There were only about 1100 348 spiders ever built so this thing deserves to be rebuilt. This car suffered an interior fire that looked like it started in the dash and burned the interior pretty completely. Once I cleared away all the derby there was still a lot of unburnt carpet and all the insulation under the carpet was undamaged in the engine bay the deck lid insulation and stuff melted and dripped all over the engine. The upper wiring and items like the MAFs shown some melting from heat coming from above. Honestly it's a pretty straight forward build. Here's what the car does and doesn't have.
It is a clean title chassis in great shape. It includes all body panels except the mirrors, ront hood, nd headlights. It seems about every panel needs a few minutes of body work to be perfect. There are some pry spots from the fire fighters prying open the front and rear hoods but nothing terrible. The worst is the front bumper that is cracked up in the lower right side and would need a good bit of fiberglass work. I had all the panels off to clean and re coat the chassis and they are just put on with a few bolts for the pictures and to transport.I have the under trays which would also need a bit of body work to be perfect.All suspension and brakes are there.The engine and transmission are there, ll radiators etc is all there. Engine turns over fine when I put jump cables to the starter.I do have the convertible top frame which does fold and unfold but needs all new latching hardware.There is NO interior at all. The 360 seats in the pictures are just there because I have no where else to set them. You can have the for an extra $2000 if you want them though. I also have a complete black /tan dash, an center console, an floor carpet, omplete black/ tan door panels. For sale SEPARATE if wanted.The car has NO electrical, eeds all wiring and computers.NO lights or grills except the little side turn signals.NO glass included.I think I've given a pretty good description of the car. Please study the pictures and ask anything you want to know. I want a completely open and honest deal. The ONLY reason I'm not going forward with this build myself is that I stumbled across a Lamborghini Diablo project car which is my dream car. Right now my garage is so full the Diablo is sitting outside in the snow. Help me rectify that and take this great project off my hands.Please only bid if you are serious and can pay to play.
